Chris:
I love to run. I was injured for almost 2 years and didn't run much. I am back at it and I love the feel of it and the boosts it offers to my mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical energy. I follow most of what you wrote and will run even when it is -30 and snowy.
Keep on running Chris!
David

Fantastic, Wendee. Looks like you have a good partner in your Garmin to keep you motivated. I wouldn't be where I am in my running without the C25K app for my iPod.

Chris, I always remind myself that my will is stronger than my body's desire to quit. Finishing then adds further proof to my body it was wrong.

Awesome, Chris! My Garmin Forerunner is supplying cold hard numeric proof that I'm getting out for my walks/runs and motivating my training...

These thoughts are all very timely for me, as I walk around today gingerly negotiating obstacles like steps. Starting out does indeed suck, but finishing feels wonderful. Like all things, one foot in front of the other and repeat.
